Cohen Opens Dallas Showroom at FIG

Los Angeles–based manufacturer representative Michael Cohen is opening a showroom at the new Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG) in Dallas.

Named Nine O Seven after his ninthfloor showroom in The New Mart of Los Angeles, the new Dallas showcase will feature young contemporary lines with an edgy appeal, Cohen said.

Among the lines that will be featured are Eisbar, Tylie Malibu, Grail, Sweetees, Lacey J., Charlotte’s Rags, Priorities and Farmer. The lines consist of knitwear, vintage and contemporary denim, novelty separates, bags, and accessories.

Cohen now has four showrooms. In addition to the Nine O Seven spaces, he also has Work in Progress showrooms in The New Mart and in FashionCenterDallas in the Dallas Market Center.

The FIG opened earlier this year in the Dallas Arts District. So far, it has signed on 15 Los Angeles–based tenants to answer demand for West Coast brands. It recently signed bridge collections from Stephanie Schaich by Barry Bricken, Jenny Maac and the Bill Burns Collection. —R.M.
