Fashion District Confirms Ops Director
The Los Angeles Fashion District Business Improvement District has confirmed the appointment of Randall Tampa as its operations director.
Tampa, who started duties June 14 in an interim role, was named permanent operations director on Aug. 12. As the operations director, he is responsible for the day-today management of the district’s 60-member Clean and Safe teams, which patrol the 90-block area of the Fashion District daily.
“We are excited to have Randall join our team,” said Kent Smith, executive director of the Los Angeles Fashion District BID. “He has had an immediate impact on our operations and has a great working relationship with the LAPD, as well as a strong understanding of Business Improvement Districts.” —Robert McAllister
