Founded in Los Angeles by British entrepreneurs James Gibb and Jeremy Davey, Home James USA is a new alternative to taxi service.
Here’s how it works: A chauffeur arrives at the location where you’ve had a night out on the town, puts his collapsible Italian scooter in the trunk of your car and then drives you home. The stylish, nicely manicured chauffeurs are fledgling actors and models.
The current Home James uniforms consist of Modern Amusement shirts and trousers, but Gibb said the company will unveil a new summer uniform during Los Angeles Fashion Week. Gibb is keeping mum on the details but said the new look is being created by a well-known Los Angeles fashion designer. —Claudia Figueroa
