AAFA's Competitive Merger
The American Apparel & Footwear Association has merged its Technical Advisory Committee and its Sewn Products Resource Council into the Enterprise Competitiveness Council, which includes more than 80 industry executives. The committee will look at ways to boost competitive advantages such as emerging technologies and information dissemination within the sewn-products industries. The newly formed ECC will hold a half-day seminar called “Advanced Strategies for Today’s Sewn-Products Companies” in May at Material World in Miami Beach, Fla.
