Isaak and Shandling to Headline Lucky Gala

Musician Chris Isaak and comedian Gary Shandling will perform at the eighth annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans Gala, hosted by Lucky Brand Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Vernon, Calif.–based Lucky Brand Dungarees.

The Nov. 12 event at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills will raise funds for an ever-growing slate of children’s charities. New children’s charities added this year include the Make A Wish Foundation, P.S. Arts, Ride On and Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation. Continuing beneficiaries include Camp del Corazon, The Fulfillment Fund, Camp I Can, Chase Place, Dream Street Foundation, Island Dolphin Care, Mychal’s Learning Place, Oralingua School for the Hearing Impaired, University of Miami School of Medicine Pediatric Mobile Unit, The Bridge School, Time for Life, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Rheumatology Department, Shane’s Inspiration, The Smile Train, Children’s Burn Foundation, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Inside Outcedil;National Ability Center, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and CHIME Charter Elementary School.

The Lucky Brand Foundation has raised more than $4 million for children’s charities since it was founded in 1998.

In addition to the performances by Isaak and Shandling, the event will feature a live and silent auction.
