Intuition Owner to Appear on QVC

Jaye Hersh has used almost every popular technology to sell clothes for her West Los Angeles shop, Intuition. Last year, she launched the Web site www.shopintuition.com, which accounts for more than 60 percent of the store’s revenue. By mid-October, she will extend her retail savvy to cable television.

Hersh will be the on-air guest for a one-time, hour-long show called “Shop Intuition by Jaye Hersh” on QVC, a shopping network based in West Chester, Pa. “The QVC audience is very savvy. They’re looking for trends, and this will be a great way to offer the latest Hollywood must haves,” Hersh said.

The electronic retailer had not confirmed a date for the “Shop Intuition” show. But QVC representative Tara Hunter said the 24-hour live network probably will air another Intuition show in the future.

The show will be taped at QVC’s studios in West Chester. Hersh will talk about the latest Hollywood celebrity trends. Viewers will have opportunities to call the studio and ask Hersh questions about what celebrities are wearing. They will also be able to buy the handbags, sweaters, scarves and jewelry that Hersh designed for the show.

Retail price points will range from $25 to $100. —Andrew Asch
