Three More Fashion Stores Move to Robertson

Construction workers on Los Angeles’ Robertson Boulevard are now almost as common a sight as paparazzi hunting for celebrity shoppers. The workers are busy building three new fashion stores on the trendy thoroughfare, home to boutiques such as Lisa Kline, Agnes B. and Diavolina.

The newcomers are English fashion house Ted Baker, which will open June 11 at 131 N. Robertson Blvd.; New York–based Tory by TRB, which will open a store for its vintage-inspired lifestyle collection later this month at 142 S. Robertson Blvd.; and New York–based Yellowman, which will retail the company’s tattoo-inspired art fashions at 110 S. Robertson Blvd. later this year. The Robertson store will be Yellowman’s first.

Their neighbors should welcome the competition, said Jennifer Leeser, manager and assistant buyer at Robertson fashion store Horn.

“There’s no bad competition,” she said. “People believe in Robertson. The only problem is that parking is not great.” —Andrew Asch
