Lovely Sophisticate
The new line Miss Davenporte, from Los Angeles stylists-turned-designers Christina Ehrlich (left) and Estee Stanley (right), was feted Nov. 17 by Lucky magazine at the Ron Herman boutique on Melrose. The cocktail party and trunk show drew a large crowd of the stylists’ star clients, including Demi Moore, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Jessica Biel and Eva Mendes—all of whom were decked out in items from the new line, which will bow for Spring ’06.
“I am really just so excited about the line and to have the support of my clients,” said Stanley, who was particularly pleased to see so many clients sporting her vintage-inspired designs. The line includes flowing blouses, kimono-sleeve tops, strapless cocktail dresses and long strapless columns—everything an ingeacute;nue could hope to wear. —Erin Barajas
