ICE Names New Fashion Commissioner

The Italian Trade Commission, which produces the TexItalia textile show, has a new director of its fashion division in New York.

Rossana Ciraolo, the longtime head of the textile and fashion division of the Italian Trade Commission’s New York office, is returning to Rome.

The Italian Trade Commission, also known as ICE, has appointed Giovanni Mafodda to assume Ciraolo’s duties. His new title is senior deputy trade commissioner, head of fashion department.

Mafodda is a longtime ICE executive, serving in the commission’s Moscow office and as trade commissioner in charge of the ICE office in St. Petersburg, Russia. He has been with the ICE New York office for two years, heading the food and wine division, which he will continue to oversee as senior deputy trade commissioner.
