Activewear Every Day

Fifty percent of American women wear activewear on a regular basis—even on the days when they are not exercising or going to the gym. That’s the news from a recent poll conducted by Kelton Research and commissioned by Portland, Ore.–based active lifestyle apparel company Lucy. Kelton surveyed 626 women between the ages of 18 and 50. According to the poll, 43 percent were looking for easy-care apparel, and 36 percent said they wanted clothing that was flexible and would stretch with their bodies.
