White Boy Philanthropy

Los Angeles label White Boy has teamed with Academy Award-nominated actor Don Cheadle to create a T-shirt to raise money for victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita at the one-year anniversary of the Gulf Coast disaster. According to White Boy parent company Sub-Urban brands, Cheadle approached the firm with the idea of creating a custom T-shirt to raise funds for hurricane victims. The actor’s design features a graphic of a family fleeing and a map of the United States. This is the company’s second recent charity endeavor. Earlier this summer, Sub-Urban launched the “Get Cocky Awards,” which raise money for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in New York.
