Blue Holdings Bows Second Store
Blue Holdings Inc., the publicly traded maker of the Antik Denim, Yanuk and Taverniti So Jeans brands, opened Blu, a new store concept at the freshly expanded Westfield San Francisco Centre, on Sept. 28.
The 3,600-square-foot store is packed with its brand’s premium denim, tops from its newly acquired Life & Death luxury knits line, and an assortment of other apparel and accessory brands for men, women and children.
Blu is the second retail venture for the Commerce, Calif.–based manufacturer. In August 2005 the company opened an Antik Denim store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. “We are pleased to be further increasing our brand awareness with the opening of our retail store, Blu, and our stylish, highfashion concepts position us well for our continued growth ahead,” said Paul Guez, chief executive and president of Blue Holdings. —Erin Barajas
