AIMS Teams With Continental for Fast Factoring
Santa Ana, Calif.–based software developer AIMS (Apparel Information Management System) and Woodland Hills, Calif.–based factoring agency Continental Business Credit have joined forces to streamline the purchase-approval process for their clients.
As part of the venture, AIMS has configured its order-management system to submit purchase-approval requests directly to Continental. The process circumvents duplication, errors and multiple touch points on retailer orders, explained AIMS principal Scott Chaban. The service is free to AIMS and Continental customers.
Users can receive immediate credit decisions while the software keeps track of orders in process.
The software updates credit decisions from Continental and automatically updates the orders in AIMS. All the technical communications take place over the Internet behind the scenes, maximizing efficiency and value for fashion clients.
