ASAP to Discuss Retail Opportunities in China
Executives from the ASAP Global Sourcing Show and InfoSmart Inc. are hosting a meeting on Aug. 18 at the Hilton hotel in San Gabriel, Calif., to discuss retail franchising opportunities in China.
ASAP is launching International Brand Management Co. (IMBC), a joint venture between ASAP and Shenzen New World Developments Inc., a large retail property developer in China. The company owns one of the largest textile wholesale malls in Asia as well as the New World Center in Shenzen.
IMBC plans to help international fashion brands break into the emerging Chinese retail market with the opening of thousands of franchise operations throughout China.
ASAP Chief Executive Officer Frank Yuan will lead the discussion as well as explain other opportunities in China for apparel manufacturers and importers.
