San Francisco Fashion Week '07: 615 Project

The 615 Project was all about dresses and jackets made to travel with the girl on the go.

“It’s clean lines and easy to wear,” said Jeanne Feldkamp, the designer behind the label.

Feldkamp employed non-intrusive colors such as sand, olive green and ivory. She veered from that simple color combo to add some blue and white, as seen in an African wax print handmade in the Ivory Coast. “Cocktail and evening [dresses] are my great love and what I keep coming back to,” said the University of Southern California graduate, who majored in communications.

Her dresses were made of silk jerseys that flowed down the runway. Jackets came in rich suedes and brushed cottons that had simple lines that went well with the dresses. —Deborah Belgum
