Showroom Seven to Offer Fashion Show Production Services in L.A.
New York–based Showroom Seven and Seventh House PR opened a permanent Los Angeles showroom and public relations office at the Cooper Design Space last October. Representing brands such as Carolina K, Erickson Beamon, Romeo & Juliet Couture and Tailorbyrd for sales and press, the showroom brings a New York sensibility to the West Coast.
Now, the showroom and public relations office are set to expand by 3,000 square feet to make room for more brands and add fashion show production services. “It is something we offer in New York, and we’re aggressively working on landing some show production work in Los Angeles,” said Jean-Marc Flack, co-owner of the 21-year-old showroom.
The company’s show production services in New York include sourcing venues, managing the seating and guest list, hiring photographers, and orchestrating the music. “With L.A. Fashion Week taking off the way it is, it makes sense for us to [offer this service],” Flack said. Flack and Showroom Seven co-owner Karen Erickson hope to expand into their new digs in February.
