FBI Sets Dates for Gerber WebPDM Workshop
Fashion Business Inc. will conduct a four-week workshop on Gerber Technology WebPDM Aug. 4–25 at the FBI Resource Center in The New Mart building in Los Angeles.
Gerber Technology’s WebPDM software is an Internet-based product data–management application that helps streamline product-development processes such as costing, tracking bill of materials, specs, sourcing information and style sheets. The product is widely used in the apparel industry.
The FBI course will be conducted in four stages: measurements, construction and sewing details, design and cost specs, and line sheets.
Participants must have general computer knowledge. The cost of the program per module is $163 for FBI members and $200 for nonmembers. Kiyomi Chansamone, a former Gerber technician and owner of Omitek, will instruct the course.
