The Buckle Gets a Blue Martini

Kearney, Neb.–based retailer The Buckle Inc. has upgraded its e-commerce platform with new software from San Diego–based Escalate Retail.

Escalate has installed its Blue Martini platform with call center and relationshipmarketing applications aimed at enhancing the online shopping experience for The Buckle’s customers.

The addition should provide a more robust, secure and feature-rich environment, said Kelly N. Barnes, Web-development manager for The Buckle.

The retailer specializes in casualwear for young men and women with an emphasis on denim. The company has about 360 units in 38 states.

“Buckle is well-known in the retail industry for its focus on customer service in the multichannel arena, and we are confident they will see an increase in their online customer satisfaction and revenues,” said Brian Dean, senior vice president of strategy and marketing for Escalate Retail.
