NGC Names PLM Manager

In a bid to strengthen its PLM (product lifecycle management) initiative, Miami Lakes, Fla.–based New Generation Computing has promoted Mark Burstein to vice president of PLM solutions.

In his new role, Burstein will work with managers on the enhancement and future direction of NGC’s e-PLM solution. He will retain his currentresponsibilities in sales and sales management.

“Sales of NGC’s PLM solutions are increasing rapidly, and NGC’s approach—an end-toend solution that includes PLM and global sourcing—is resonating in the market,” said company President Alan Brooks.

E-PLM is part of NGC’s SQL Series, which also includes e-SPS, an application for global sourcing and visibility and RedHorse, an ERP (enterprise resource planning) application, which manages finances and other businessmanagement steps as well as solutions for shopfloor control and shipping.
