New Retail Chain
High-end denim company 7 For All Mankind is getting ready to expand into the retail world with its own chain of stores. To do this, the company recently hired Aaron Battista as its vice president of retail, effective March 16. A chain of retail stores is the latest growth strategy for the Los Angeles company, which is headed by Peter Koral and 50 percent owned by Bear Stearns Merchant Banking. Battista has spent nearly seven years at Los Angeles–based Lucky Brand Jeans, where he was most recently vice president of retail. He will be reporting to Michael Egeck, chief executive of 7 For All Mankind.
