Downtown Showcase
David Tupaz and Irma La Dolce were among the designers who showcased their fashions at the Nov. 12 Reflections 19 catwalk presentation organized by salon owner Monet Lu. Lu, who operates Monet Salon locations in Hollywood; Panorama City, Calif.; and Van Nuys, Calif., hosted the event at the Los Angeles Marriott Hotel Downtown.
Tupaz, an eveningwear designer based in Woodland Hills, Calif., showed gowns from his collection. La Dolce, who designs her eponymous line and operates a retail store of the same name, showed 10 of her own Fall/Winter 2007 designs on the runway as well as a selection of Italian fashions currently available in her Laguna Beach, Calif.–based store.—Erin Barajas
