DigiFab Releases Heat Press for Polyester Prints
Los Angeles–based printing-systems supplier DigiFab Systems has released a heat press, which allows users to make dye-sublimation prints on polyester and poly-blend fabrics.
The DigiHeat 1361320-X3 press reaches up to 132 inches in width and features a Teflon-coated carbon drum that delivers uniform heat dispersion for improved color consistency from edge to edge and down the length, while allowing for quick heat up as well as cool down, explained company President Avedik Izmirlian. The format makes it appropriate for designer apparel as well as sportswear and imprinted sportswear and home-furnishings applications.
The machine has a list price of $78,000.
