Pooltradeshow on the Move
After occupying a tent in a parking lot in Las Vegas, the Pooltradeshow is moving to firmer ground for next February’s MAGIC Marketplace.
The trade show, an incubator for emerging labels, will vacate its canvas headquarters, set up outside the Las Vegas Convention Center last August, and put up booths inside the convention center when the show takes place Feb. 12–14. In August 2006, the show was located inside the Mandalay Bay hotel.
The 6-year-old trade show also announced that Stephanie Seeley is the new show manager for the event. Overseeing the new development are Seeley and Mindy Wiener, director of operations.
Pool was launched in 2001 by Ronda Walker. She sold the enterprise in 2005 to Advanstar Communications Inc., the New York–based organizers of MAGIC Marketplace. —Deborah Belgum
