JCP's Alcorn Retires

Plano, Texas–based J.C. Penney Co. Inc. announced the retirement of longtime executive William Alcorn, the company’s senior vice president, controller and chief procurement officer for non-resale goods and services. Alcorn has been with JCPenney since 1971. Another longtime JCPenney executive, Dennis Miller, has been tapped to succeed Alcorn as vice president, controller. Miller has been with the company since 1974. Bruce Kilkowski, formerly vice president of procurement for Bank of America, has been named vice president and director of procurement at JCPenney. Robert Johnson, who has been with JCPenney since 1976, has been named vice president and director of planning, budgeting and forecasting. Phillip Sanchez—formerly divisional vice president, associate director of investor relations—has been promoted to vice president and director of investor relations.
