Primo Purchase
Luca Luca, a women’s luxury clothing brand launched in 1992 in New York, has been purchased by The Equitium Group, a Miami-based investment firm. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Luca Orlandi, the founder of Luca Luca, said the acquisition will help the label to expand. “I am thrilled to announce this acquisition and look forward to seeing the brand accelerate its growth,” said the Italian-born Orlandi. His company’s ready-to-wear apparel and accessories are sold in New York, Miami, Chicago and Dallas, as well as other locations.
