Los Angeles–based apparel brand Organically Grown launched a baby line called Organically Grown Baby. Carried by retailers Macy’s, Gottschalks, Dillard’s and Buy Buy Buy, the new collection includes organic-cotton brushed jersey and terry velour in sizes newborn to 9 months. The company plans to extend the line into organic infant bedding, room deacute;cor, cosmetics, skin care, household cleaners and girls’ underwear in early 2009. The Organically Grown trademark was recently acquired by the Organically Grown Group LLC from TJX Cos., owner of Marshalls and TJ Maxx.
