Alternative Pops Up in Hollywood
North Cahuenga Boulevard seems to be a magnet for fashion retail. Atlanta-based Alternative opened Limited Addition, a quot;mobile-retail installationquot; at 1555 N. Cahuenga Blvd. on Nov. 16. The shop was designed with exposed ceilings and loft-style interior deacute;cor. It offers Alternative’s main line of basics as well as the eco-friendly line Alternative Earth and contemporary line Alternative Orange. Also available is footwear by Toms Shoes. Alternative Apparel is opening another Limited Addition installation at 1512 Montana Ave. in Santa Monica, Calif., on Nov. 22. Alternative’s Hollywood store is scheduled to close on Jan 15. The Santa Monica store is scheduled to close on March 15. —Andrew Asch
