Streetwear Sale

Liz Claiborne has sold its Enyce label to Sean “Diddy” Combs, the singer who is also chief executive of the Sean John label. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Claiborne bought the brand, which is geared toward young men, for $114 million in 2003, when the collection was at the top of its game. Since then, the apparel line’s sales have slowed. In the last year, Liz Claiborne has shed several of its labels, including Ellen Tracy, C&C California, Laundry and Prana.
