Only Hearts Kicks Off Charity Campaign

Only Hearts is starting the holiday giving season early with its “I Heart Sharing” campaign. The New York–based brand will use its Only Hearts boutiques, located in New York and Santa Monica, Calif., as hubs to raise funds for local charitable organizations. For the month of November, Only Hearts will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of a limited-edition tote bag and 5 percent of the proceeds from purchases made in its stores to the St. Joseph Center in Los Angeles’ Venice district and The Food Bank in New York. During this time, Only Hearts will also be holding a canned-food drive for those organizations, and staff will serve meals at Bread and Roses Cafeacute;, also in Venice, and The Community Kitchen in New York’s Harlem neighborhood.

The campaign is a part of Only Hearts’ 30th anniversary celebration, in which the company wanted to contribute to the communities that helped its stores thrive. Helena Stuart, founder and designer of Only Hearts, started her business with lingerie styles that could be worn as outerwear and has expanded to include a full ready-to-wear line and sleepwear line.

“We would not have been around the last 30 years without the support of our neighbors, and I think that it’s really important that we all find a way to give back,” said Stuart in a statement. —Rhea Cortado
