CurveNV Makes a Splash on the Runway
After two busy days on the show floor, approximately 500 exhibitors and buyers from the CurveNV lingerie and swimwear event turned out on Aug. 26 at Tao nightclub in The Venetian hotel to drink and dance into the next morning.
Titled “Splash,” the event highlighted swimwear and lingerie from the trade show floor, including brands Janet Reger, Glimpse by Samantha Chang, Marlies Dekkers, Cosabella, Eberjey, Rasurel Design by Lejaby, Princesse Tam Tam, Valery,Despi, Hope, Chiarugi, Janine Robin, Rosy, Patricia Fieldwalker and Huit.
Animal prints appeared in bold patterns on a colorful cheetah one-piece suit by Cosabella and in delicate zebra lines on a skimpy Eberjey bikini. Vibrant colors made vintage suits look modern, such as a purple high-waist bikini by Rasurel Design by Lejaby and a yellow terry-cloth bikini. The handful of lingerie shown was all about sheer, including a transparent baby doll with wide lace trim and a see-through lace bra and panty set. —Rhea Cortado
