Avery Launches Spanish-Language Web Resource

Tags-and-labels supplier Avery Dennison has launched a Spanish-language Web site at www.ibmd.averydennison.com/esl.

The site features interactive pages with information on Avery labeling and RFID (radio frequency identification) products as well as information on subjects such as the controversial Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), which mandates labeling procedures to protect consumers from hazardous materials.

The site additionally provides information on products that aid the display, tracking and protection of brand names at any point in the global supply chain.

Issues such as brand enhancement, security, data management, supply-chain visibility, label consistency and RFID are becoming more important in Spanish-speaking countries as well as in the United States, said Stefano Lacaita, general manager for Avery’s Latin America division.

“Throughout Latin America and in other Spanish-speaking regions around the world, the new site will provide apparel business managers with content that helps them enhance their operations and brand management,” he added.

The Spanish edition was constructed using customer input and the benchmarking of high-rated Web sites worldwide. The Avery Dennison IBMD Web site is also featured in Chinese, German and English. For more information, visit www.averydennison.com.—Robert McAllister
