Fashion Attorney Riordan Joins Fox Rothschild

Fashion-industry attorney Staci Jennifer Riordan has joined the Los Angeles law offices of Fox Rothschild LLP as a senior associate.

Riordan is chairperson of the newly formed Fashion Law practice, handling commercial and intellectual-property litigation, fashion law, and client counseling.

Riordan comes to the firm from Thelen LLP in Los Angeles, where she was an associate and Fashion Law practice group chair.

“Staci’s experience in the fashion industry and her deep understanding of intellectual property and commercial litigation issues make her an excellent match for our growing Los Angeles practice,” said Jeffrey S. Kravitz, office managing partner.

Fox Rothschild’s new practice will build on the firm’s experience with apparel-industry clients, which include Liz Claiborne Inc., Kenneth Cole Productions, Fluerish Clothing, Deborah Lindquist, Kim Vo, Carushka Bodywear, 100 Styles and Running and Chenault Clothing.

Riordan sits on the boards of Fashion Group International, for which she is programming chair and regional director elect for 2010–12; the California Fashion Association; Apparel Industries Group for the City of Hope; and the UCLA Extension, Business of Creativity, Advisory Council. Riordan is also a member of The Professionals Club, the International Textile and Apparel Association, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills Barristers and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
