L.A. Fashion Week Spring 2010: Fremont

Fremont took a 1930s-style safari trip for its Spring 2010 collection. It debuted Oct. 15 during Fashion at Broadway at the Los Angeles Theater.

Los Angeles–based Fremont debuted 12 looks for women and 12 looks for men during the show, where a jazz trio also performed. The Fremont collection updated some of the classic Hemingway styles with tailored safari-style jackets, collared shirts and shorts. Cotton linen blends were used to construct Fremont’s looks. Other styles debuted in this show included a maxi-dress with a dramatic head scarf. Also displayed was a sporty, red Capri pant worn with a boat-collar shirt with a plunging neckline.—Andrew Asch
