SDI Prepares for Supply-Chain Forum
SDI Industries, the Pacoima, Calif.–based logistics company, will host its annual Logistics & Supply Chain Forum April 29–30 at The Four Seasons hotel in Las Vegas.
The speaker lineup includes several apparel-industry executives, including Joel Feldman, president and chief operating officer of Byer California; Mike McMullan, vice president of logistics and distribution for Warnaco; Gough Grubbs, senior vice president of distribution for Stage Stores; and Bill Bellerose, senior vice president of distribution for Hot Topic. In addition, executives from SAP, Automated Distribution Systems and others are scheduled to speak. Topics range from global expansion to maintaining corporate culture and social-networking strategies.
SDI Industries was founded in 1977 as a retail engineering consultancy. The company has grown to include materials-handling consulting, design, engineering, fabrication, installation and integration services for the retail, wholesale, fulfillment and e-commerce industries. Among the company’s products are garments-on-hangers and sorting and conveyor systems, which enable distributors to automate the pack-and-ship process.
