British Men Take Their Time
I always knew the British were a little different from you and me, but this proves it.
A recent study by Debenhams, the big department store chain in Great Britian, shows that the average British man takes 98 minutes to get ready for a holiday party.
In contrast, the average woman fritters away 84 minutes to prep for a holiday event. (Now I don't feel so bad.)
The survey showed that these gents spend 19 minutes on their hair. (These guys should get to know my husband. He doesn't even own a comb and he has a full head of hair,) 21 minutes in the shower, (It's a good thing there's a lot of rain in England. No water shortage there,) and 28 minutes on treatments and shaving. But these men do leave selecting their outfits to the last minute. (This is the kind of guy I know.)
Debenhams surveyed 1,000 people for its consumer report into grooming habits. Rumor has it they are all moving to Hollywood soon. (Just kidding.)
