Old Shirts Could Bring Good Karma in the New Year

If you weren’t filled with enough Christmas spirit or would like to squeeze in one last good deed before the clock strikes 2011, then head to a James Perse location for the brand’s “What Comes Around Goes Around” recycling program.

When you donate an old James Perse T-shirt at any participating location, you will receive $10 store credit to be spent on that same visit. The designer basics label asks that you keep it within a five T-shirt/$50 limit. The stores will also accept other donations, but the promotion is limited to James Perse items. The tees will be reconditioned, redyed and then given to homeless men, women and children by nonprofit organization Beyond Shelter. The promotion ends on Jan. 1.
