CMC's Retail Seminar Has Tips for 2010

A seminar giving retailers a heads-up for 2010 will take place at the California Market Center on Feb. 9 during Market Tuesday.

Ilse Metchek, president of the California Fashion Association, will moderate a panel that will talk about credit and how to get it, examine new value for point-of-sale (POS) systems, and discuss strategic planning to ensure profitability.

On the panel will be Bruce Campbell, a partner in Black Retail Consulting; Stella Campbell, owner of Sugar Stores; Chester Ritchie, executive vice president of CAM Commerce; and Gene Schwartz, senior vice president of CIT Group.
