Karen Kearns Sales

California Market CenterSuite A247(213) 627-8883From the tropical-print day dresses by Honolulu-based Tori Richard to the soft cotton loungewear by San Francisco–based Toute La Nuit, the lines carried in Karen Kearns’ new showroom are all about comfort.

For more than 20 years, Kearns worked as a sales representative for multiline showrooms and clothing manufacturers. Building upon her experience in the Cruise market, Kearns’ first showroom as an independent sales rep follows the Resort mentality of easy-to-wear, relaxed and “take it anywhere” travel clothes.

The buttery touch of Seattle-based Cashmere Wrappings’ scarves, wraps and shawls in silk/wool, cashmere and wool fabrications epitomizes Kearns’ dressing lifestyle.

“You can get a scarf anywhere,” Kearns said. “It is [the feel] that sells this line,” she said. Wholesale price points range from $55 to $135.

Kokun sweaters and dresses in fine-gauge cashmere, silk/cashmere and bamboo cashmere wholesale from $52 to $90 and feature clean details that are “very subtle but beautiful.”

London-based Charli includes sophisticated palazzo pants, leggings and dresses in neutral colors for the understated woman. White dress shirts by Bisa, wholesaling for $45 to $65, have a structured look but are still flexible with stretch cotton.

On the fashion end of the spectrum are colored denim and trendy print tops with a relaxed fit by Workers for Freedom, as well as beaded and sequined evening bags by K.C. Malhan Handbags, wholesaling for $22 to $75.—Rhea Cortado
