Miami Swim Week Cruise 2011: Swimwear Anywhere at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

The pool deck at The Raleigh hotel was the ideal place for Swimwear Anywhere Inc. to debut its new Coco Contours and Carmen Marc Valvo Resort Wear collections.

On July 17, the New York–based swimwear manufacturer presented its range of designer swimwear brands for the first time during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim.

The company showcased a wide assortment of trend driven looks from its brands that include designer labels such as Marc by Marc Jacobs Swimwear, DKNY Swim, Carmen Marc Valvo, Beach House and Juicy Couture Beach. A variety of styles were presentedfrom feminine, ditsy floral prints, ruffled skirts and swim dresses to modern asymmetric styling, classic graphic prints and stripes and coordinated cover ups. The Carmen Marc Valvo Resort Wear collection complimented the swimwear collection for an effortless transition from pool-side to cocktail hour. Valvo showed casual yet chic safari themes and styles such as convertible dresses, cargo pants, halter jumpsuits, yoga wear and straw accessories with modern ethnic details. The elegant new Coco Contours collection joins the company’s roster of bra-sized swimwear brands Coco Reef and Coco Rave. Designed to help streamline a woman’s curves, Coco Contours suits are made in classic silhouettes with solid colors and sophisticated floral and graphic prints. Suits are engineered with strategically placed compression control zones that smooth and lift. For the athletic minded, a range of active swimwear and sportswear from TYR closed the show. Think bold colors, graphic prints and the latest in fashionable yet high performance gear. —N. Jayne Seward
