Agenda Moves N.Y.C. Location

In July, the first-ever New York edition of the boutique surf/street/skate Agenda Trade Show will go on as planned in a new location. The show, set for July 19–20, will now take place at the Chelsea Art Museum during the New York Men’s Market.

The debut show will include approximately 60 skate and streetwear brands, including RVCA, The Hundreds, Vans, Reebok, Gonz!, Stuuml;ssy, True Love & False Idols, Undefeated and Matix.

The new venue is a nod to convenience for buyers. “Over the past month it became clear that the [New York] men’s market week would be centralizing in Chelsea. Rather than forcing buyers who want to shop more than one show to cross town, we were able to find a venue that put us in the thick of market week,” said Seth Haber, Agenda partner. Aaron Levant, the show’s founder and president, said the Chelsea Art Museum also speaks to the show’s aesthetic. “Moving to an art museum is the ideal space for us. For seven years we have preached the connection between apparel and art. Housing a trade show dedicated to brands that bring that connection to life is incredible. The museum will serve as an amazing space for product to be showcased,” he said.—Erin Barajas
