Glover Takes on Hugo Boss
At this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, actor Danny Glover brought something new to the red carpet: a labor dispute involving a U.S. Hugo Boss plant. Glover urged his fellow actors to boycott the upscale menswear label in protest of the closure of a manufacturing plant in Cleveland that produced apparel for Hugo Boss. According to a letter released by Glover, Hugo Boss is moving production overseas and 400 workers at the Cleveland plant will lose their jobs.
