L.A. Fashion Week Fall '10: The Battalion

The mysterious energy fields of the Integratron in Joshua Tree, Calif., and the majestic Redstone Castle of Sedona, Ariz., served as inspiration for The Battalion’s Fall 2010 collection. This season the look was all about the texture. The dry places in the desert were channeled in a soft palette of black, beige, ivory, heather gray and sage. The fashion-forward brand incorporated key trends of the season with its eco-friendly touch.

Vegetarian furs were used in coats and the trims of chic cardigan sweaters.

And moto and military jackets were made in veggie leather. There were plenty of cozy mini-dresses and leggings with pleated knee detailing. Chic veggie fur head wraps topped off the look.—N. Jayne Seward
