HauteLook Launches on Facebook

Los Angeles–based flash-sale site HauteLook launched an events division on Facebook. Facebook members who “like” HauteLook Events will be able to browse sales events through a shop tab on HauteLook’s Facebook page. Members can post information about their HauteLook purchases and give their friends access to the HauteLook shopping application. HauteLook Events on Facebook will be offered weekly, and each sale will last 48 hours. Upcoming sales will feature products from Diane von Furstenberg and BCBG. The technology behind the Facebook Events application is used under an exclusive license with Alvenda.
