Fila Buys Integrix
Fila Luxembourg S.a.r.l. struck a deal to buy Integrix Sports Group Ltd., the master licensee of the Fila brand for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Ares Capital Europe Ltd., which was formerly the majority of ISGL, has retained a 25 percent stake in ISGL. Founded in Italy in 1911, Fila makes sport and leisure footwear and apparel. In 2007, Fila was purchased by a Korean company, now called Fila Korea, which oversees the brand, including Fila Luxembourg.
