NEW YORK—Street and skate show Agenda had it's third season in New York on July 18-19 and returned to the Chelsea Art Museum in New York's Chelsea neighborhood.

For the Spring/Summer 2012 season, Agenda:NYC once again stayed to it's core of streetwear, sneaker and action sports lifestyle brands.

"We deal with the mom and pop stores that really support the brand and that's what this show is all about," Rich Abreu who is a sales manager and handles northeast sales for L.A.-based label Crooks and Castles.

"It's a really easy show for new accounts to work and come see the line," said Chris Piatek who handles northeast and New England sales for Podium Distribution, the Torrance, Calif.-based company of Matix Clothing, DVS and Diamond Footwear.

Though final attendance figures are to be determined, Agenda President Aaron Levant estimates that attendance was up 25 percent.

Buyers from stores such as Nordstrom, Barneys, Urban Outfitters as well as specialty retailers walked the show.

With such success on the East Coast, Levant anticipates growth for the New York edition. "It's the best show we've ever done in New York," Levant said. "And it's set the pace to do bigger things in New York in the future. The show can become as big as our show in California."
