Fashion the Latin Way
Stylist Jorge Ramon and actress Paula Garces
"Project Runway" is on Lifetime Television. "Launch My Line" is on Bravo network. For the Latin world, there is "The mun2 Look," a fashion trend and makeover show on Telemundo's cable network channel called mun2.
For those who don't speak Spanish, mun2 or (moon-dos) means "worlds" in English. It is Telemundo's niche for the bicultural Latino age 18 to 34.
This is the second season for "The mun2 Look," which debuts this Saturday, and it should prove to be a window into fashion trends that appeal to the Latin fashionista. The show is hosted and produced by actress Paula Garces and features fashion stylist Jorge Ramon, who at one time was the fashion director at "Teen People" magazine.
Celebrity guests will be Perez Hilton, the Los Angeles blogger and television personality who never minces words, as well as Wisin Yandel, a Puerto Rican raggaeton duo. The show will do makeovers, answer fashion questions and give fashion tips about where to get the hottest looks for less. I would suggest a few sample sales, if they are looking for input.
