Banana Republic is getting a dose of PalmSprings style thanks to Los Angeles designer Trina Turk, who will launch a limited-edition capsule collection at the Gap-owned retail chain beginning in June.
The Banana Republic Trina Turk Collection of summer essentials will be sold at Banana Republic stores in the United States, Canada, the U.K., Italy, France, Japan, Turkey, and Korea as well as online in 24 countries through the company’s international e-commerce sites.
The 60-piece collection will incorporate Turk’s “aspirational Palm Springs lifestyle,” said Banana Republic Creative Director Simon Kneen and be inspired by “the Palm Springs ’cocktails by the pool’ lifestyle, according to Turk.
