ENK International Sold to Advanstar
One of the biggest apparel trade show companies in the United States just got bigger.
ENK International is being acquired by Advanstar Global, the people behind major trade shows such as MAGIC, Project and FN Platform.
ENK International operates popular trade shows such as Fashion Coterie, ENK New York, ENK Vegas, Intermezzo Collections, Accessorie Circuit, Children’s Club, Sole Commerce and TMRW.
Rumors had been floating for months that Advanstar wanted to acquire one of its main competitors. ENK’s founding partner, Ted Forstmann, died in 2011. In September of this year, Elyse Kroll, another founder, left after being with the organization for more than 30 years.
