ECO SWIM Contact: Sandra Davidoff sdavidoff@swimusa.com (212) 730-9555 www.ecoswim.com Products and Services: ECO SWIM is where design meets innovation in the swim industry. Although our growth has occurred globally, we still design, fit, source, cut, and sew in the USA. For 75 years we have been striving to create the highest-quality, best-fitting swimsuits in the world. With the establishment of new innovations in fabric technology, as well as eco-friendly manufacturing processes and materials, we can now apply our expertise to eco-friendly swimwear that is of the highest standard and fits, feels, and is just as fashionable as other conventional swimwear on the market. Our drive to keep ECO SWIM “made in America” is three fold. While we realize that sourcing our materials and manufacturing locally is better for the environment, there is also a basic economic incentive to keep things at home, as well as an emotional family tie to the mission. “Made in America” reduces our use of fossil fuel up to 96.9% and answers the growing demand from today’s consumers for more responsible products. Domestic production is not only good for the environment but allows us to put the cost of shipping into testing new sustainable fabrics and technologies while creating more jobs at home.

METAL Jeans Contact: Reid Flemingrfleming@metaljeans.com (818) 623-6552 www.metaljeans.com Products and Services: When METAL Jeans was founded, it seemed like common sense that everything would be designed and manufactured in America, as the brand revolved around defiant, hard-living Americans and especially the country’s veterans. Some of the styles and accessories were pretty complicated and needed to be addressed on a daily basis, and the thought of sending the work and production outside of America made zero sense. To put out the quality of METAL’s “American Made, American Worn” and have it manufactured elsewhere almost seemed treasonous. At the end of the day the gear is not just for American METAL heads but every employee, shareholder, sub contractor, and truck driver who is involved with constructing the product.

Wintergreen Northern Wear 205 E. Sheridan St.

Ely, MN 55731 (800) 584-9425www.wintergreennorthernwear.com becky.stacey@wintergreennorthernwear.com Products and Services: The outdoors is our way of life. We live, design, sew, and sell our outdoor gear in Minnesota’s northern border wilderness. We make it ourselves, we sell it ourselves. Nothing is made overseas or sold to other retailers. Rolls of fabric come in the back of our shop, and finished garments go out the front. That means we monitor quality every step of the way. We make all Wintergreen items in the facility in Ely and use as much USA-made materials and notions as possible. We began in 1985 by designing gear for our first expedition to the North Pole. Since then, we’ve explored just about every cold place on the planet, from Greenland to the Russian Arctic—all with our own gear. Serious field-testing. We take great pride in being one of the largest private employers in a small remote town where jobs are scarce but garment-making talents and pride in workmanship are in abundance. We’re one of the last full-line outdoor clothing makers in the United States. Our country has become a throwaway society because we can get cheap goods from overseas. Wintergreen clothing is made to last, so if it means purchasing a garment made by an Amercian worker at a higher price, we feel this is a good thing. Buy less, keep it longer, and throw away less!
