LA Fashion Week Spring 2013: California Market Center
The California Market Center celebrated LA Market with a fashion presentation and party. The event, which took place on Oct. 15, included club-style music, hors d’oeuvres and tequila cocktails in the CMC lobby. Designers and denim brands each presented a small group from their collections.
Stop Staring showed its retro chic dresses in red, black and leopard prints. Young contemporary line Mystree debuted a mix of sequin dresses and chiffon blouses paired with skirts. Denim brands—including Grace in L.A Jeans, Acoustic Denim and Buffalo David Bitton—showed a mix of key trends of the season. Feminine lace blouses paired with shorts and vintage washed denim and a colorful mix of printed blouses and jackets coordinated with skinny jeans.—N. Jayne Seward
